Working for the USGA as well as PGA TOUR, I’ve learned you cannot just show up one day and capture an entire course. You need multiple days to properly document a course to show the beauty of each hole with the best lighting conditions possible. We capture content from the ground as well as aerial drone content.
Documenting Golf Course Construction
Your course has just invested millions of dollars in upgrades, only to be left with no video imagery of the transformation process. In my experience, people can’t fully appreciate the transformation without witnessing the journey. But, who has time, while overseeing a major renovation to invest hours in professional-grade time lapse video and photography of the transformation. This is where I come in! I provide hassle free, fully packaged, content that can be shared with your members, teams, and stakeholders to vividly bring to life the project that they have invested in and the progress that is being made throughout the journey. When the course is complete we then do an array of content with the new venue to show the full transformation.
Flights from Tee to Green
As the drone operator for the USGA, I excel at capturing smooth flights from tee to green that highlight every aspect of the hole, as well as capturing stunning cinematic visuals. Timing my flights for the best lighting of each hole is crucial, which is why I schedule visits over several days.

Dave Evenson
I grew up around the game of golf in San Diego where I became an All-American. After a car accident derailed my golf ambitions I turned to video production and soon found myself behind the camera lens.
In 2016 I began to work for the PGA TOUR as a camera operator and drone pilot. In 2022 I added the USGA as a client doing cinema style camera work along with aerial drone content during Championships.
